Focus on the Cross in all of March

— During the entire month of March, we will have a focus in our services on the Cross, says Oslochurch's pastor Aina Torp.

— We have just finished church services for the month of February where the focus has been on God's Father Love, and this has really increased our spiritual appetite. We see that systematic, fundamental teaching based on the Bible, God's Holy Word, is necessary to make people disciples of Jesus in our time where most people in the capitol have minimal insight into God's Word, she says.

Aina says that the Bible teaching will be by exposition of Bible texts, but also by emphasizing the dimension of the Cross in many gospel songs:

— Many people do not realize that our treasure of songs contains powerful revelation about the Cross and the many concepts that come from this, such as The Blood and The Lamb.

— When we discover this in the songs, they will become a resource to strengthen our spiritual life.

But on the first Sunday in March, Oslochurch unfortunately has to skip the service because Evangeliesalen Berøa needs the entire building for its annual members party.

— This is something we agreed with Evangeliesalen Berøa when they so generously let us use their premises from November 2023. We are deeply grateful that they let us use the premises there, states pastor Aina, and says that the meetings will be as usual from Sunday, March 10th at 16:00, and then on March 17th, March 24th and March 31st.
