Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about Oslochurch.
When was Oslochurch founded?
On August 8th, 2013, «Trossamfunnet Oslokirken» (the religious community Oslokirken) was legally approved and registered as a Pentecostal Church by the Governor of Oslo. The forerunners that led to the establishment of Oslochurch in 2013 were Seierskirken and Oslokirken.
Jan-Aage Torp is approved by the Governor as the leader of the church, and he has the legal right to perform weddings.
From 2013 to 2019, Oslochurch has operated as a chapel with services on Sunday morning only, but we are closely connected to the international work of European Apostolic Leaders (EAL), which is led by our pastor Jan-Aage Torp.
Is Oslochurch an independent church?
Yes, but our pastor couple Aina & Jan-Aage Torp are members of European Apostolic Leaders, which has members and partners in several nations.
