The Lord expects Obedience

In this morning´s worship service in Oslokirken, Pastor Jan-Aage Torp continued the Bible studies from the Book of Joshua, this time chapter 6.

He underscored especially Joshua 6:2: 

«And the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor».

- However, the conditions are clearly presented throughout chapter 6, maintained Jan-Aage: - The Lord expects obedience.

Pastor Torp said that the Lord expects the same from Oslokirken in 2022: - We must obey Him, and flee from all manipulation and schemes which Norwegian Christendom is so burdened with.

- If we take this seriously, we will experience what is written in Joshua 6:27:

«So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame was in all the land».
