The Evangeliesalen Berøa Pentecostal Church at Nordre gate 18b in Oslo held their annual Christmas Carols Evening today.
Beautiful, classic carols were performed by the church choir, and solos and duet carols were also performed, as well as a piano mini-concert by one of Oslo´s finest pianists. The former and the present lead pastors, Finn Røine and Jon Brammer, did a duet song together, bringing a prolonged applause by the audience. And the resident preacher, Fred-Vidar Tveter, both played the piano and sang several songs, as well as gave the Christmas sermon on the importance of unwrapping the best Christmas gift, Jesus Christ.
Some of Oslokirken´s members joined the Christmas Carols Evening, and throughly enjoyed this highlight of the advent season. It was good to mingle with the people of Evangeliesalen Berøa, which generously allows us to have our own church services every Sunday afternoon in their facilities. This was an evening to remember!
