Pastor couple Aina & Jan-Aage Torp shared the vision and foundations of Oslochurch last night in an illustrated teaching.

Oslochurch - a Construction Site

-The foundations were really layed when we received Christ several year ago, said Jan-Aage, showing pictures of his own baptism on the mission field in Thailand in 1968.

-Our mandate is to make disciples of all people groups in accordance with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. Jesus said "I will build My church", and we are His co-workers, said Jan-Aage. -Oslochurch really is a construction site where we are working together to build. When the foundations are deep, then the building can become big, tall, solid and lasting!

Jan-Aage laid out the growth strategy of Oslochurch for the years to come: -If we want quick solutions in which we try to bring in groups of dissatisfied members from other churches, that would be bad growth. But if every one of us disciples our spouse, children, parents, siblings, friends, neighbors, colleagues etc - that is excellent growth!
