During the quiet summer months Pastor Jan-Aage Torp has enjoyed bringing several ambassadors to meet one of the greatest sculptors and painters of Norway after World War II, Tore Bjørn Skjølsvik, at his TBS Gallery on Oscars gate 23 in the prestigious embassy district of Oslo.
TBS Gallery was opened in June 2019, and exhibits 200+ of Skjølsvik´s finest works.
Today, Ambassador Teymuraz Ramishvili of the Russian Federation enjoyed four hours with Skjølsvik and Torp, together with his associate, Timur Chekanov.
The Patron of TBS Gallery, Olav Nils Sunde (the owner of Color Line), spent a good portion of the time with the diplomatic delegation, in an enjoyable time of eating strawberries, drinking coffee, and having discussions in the garden.
Previously this summer, Pastor Torp has also brought Ambassador of Cuba, Oscar de los Reyes; Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yerkin Akhinzhanov; Ambassador of Indonesia, Todung Mulya Lubis; Ambassador of Egypt, Amr Ramadan; Ambassador of the Philippines, Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia; and Ambassador of South Africa, Selaelo Ramokgopa.
