An Embassy to the World

Oslochurch has a calling from God to be an Embassy of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world. We do not firstly represent a nation of the world, but the love and peace of God.

Biblicaly speaking, «peace» does not only mean the absence of conflict, but it means much more: Harmony, wholeness, completeness, and integrity.

Jesus said in John 14:27: «Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.»

Our pastors Aina & Jan-Aage Torp have an increasing role in Norway, Europe, and beyond as «Ambassadors of Peace».

This is in line with the words of Jesus Christ to His Father in Heaven: «As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world» (John 17:18).
