Lillian Gran, the Mama

Ms. Lillian Gran (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in Education at a major Norwegian University of Applied Sciences, and has combined her professional work with being a loving mother to her two kids, 12 and 14 years old.

However, in April 2023 the infamous Norwegian Child Welfare System («Barnevernet») recruited the local police in the small municipality Løten, two hours north of Oslo, to forcefully take her devastated children at school and place them in foster care. Without any forewarning.

The Norwegian courts have denied her the right to even bring professional expert witnesses to testify: Medical doctors, psychologists, and lawyers. 

Lillian´s elderly parents, who are sheep farmers, are being denied the right to meet their own grandkids.

Dr. Lillian has now taken the case to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. She seeks justice for her children.
